Introducing yourself by your “big three” has steadily become as commonplace as stating the city where you grew up. If you have not been on the side of the media that uses Astrology as a form of small talk rather than the weather, then quite frankly, I am confused as to how you found my blog. Nevertheless, the “big three” states the position of the sun, the moon, and the ascendant on your natal chart.
I figured that in sharing my big three, you may be able to better understand where I am coming from, and whose perspective you are listening to in reading this blog. If you consider yourself well versed in the field of astrology, let’s see if you can guess what my big three are...
Most people know me as a ballet dancer, but I am also an aspiring writer and college student, studying business, online. I have a deep love for music, as well as dance, and anything in the arts, and I constantly have a hundred ideas in my head for the next big project I want to take on. I adore good conversation and love talking and listening to different opinions to better inform my own, even if I go into an argument head first knowing that I will not change my perspective.
I have lived in three different countries in the past three years. Born in the United States, I grew up in San Francisco, California, and moved to the south at age 15 to attend an art school that would help propel my career as a ballet dancer. I later moved to Amsterdam, in the Netherlands to attend a prestigious ballet academy, and later, to Zurich, Switzerland to begin my career. Travel has always been a major part of my life, and my roots in the melting pot of the Bay Area, as well as my mother’s Brazilian heritage, have greatly attributed to my love of cultures.
Out of all of my friends, I have the most painstakingly spotless apartment. When I was about seven years old, I had a friend come over who asked if I had just moved into my house because there were no toys out of place, and everything seemed so unnaturally organized. At the age of ten, my family took a road trip to Lake Tahoe, from our home outside of San Francisco, and to prevent boredom on the four-hour drive, I had written out an itinerary for everyone in the family marked in intervals of 20 minutes as to what activities, or conversations we would share until we reached our final destinations.
Have your guesses? Let’s see how accurate you are.
My Big Three
Yup, I’m a Gemini. I know, they have a terrible reputation, especially as the one and only Donald also shares the sign of the twins. Madison Beer even has a line in her song Selfish about us. “Why you always such a Gemini.” Despite the constant shade we may get from the rest of the signs however, I have grown to love my sun sign. Frequently called two-faced, and loud, my sun has also allowed me to use my voice, and be openly opinionated on various topics.
My moon in Sagittarius makes a lot of sense. My love for travel, and my constant wanderlust fits in perfectly with the Sagittarius description. My Virgo rising, could not be more apparent in my life either as my type-A personality shines through in nearly everything I do, for better or for worse.
